MoH Bans Facebook Account Selling Unregistered Products

Phnom Penh: The profile called “Baby Pink-Baby Store” has been found selling Holland & Barret Vitamin C & Zone Orange Effervescent on Facebook, a product without a registration number from the Ministry of Health. The Ministry has decided to ban the owner of the account while taking legal action.

The Ministry says that in accordance to the Law on the Administration of Medicines, a license number and a registration code from the Ministry of Health is required to every pharmaceutical product that prevents or treat any kind of diseases. The Health Ministry has encouraged the public to check the registration label on the packaging and their documents before buying any kind of medication.
